My First Video… Hoss and Equipment Cards

Well folks here it is my first video (it took me about a half hour, not counting the upload time), remember a few things, one I’m getting over a serious viral infection so I sound a little sniffley. Second I have only a cheap SD cam and no lighting at the moment; this should be fixed later. Also for future videos I may lock the focus and cut the zooming. Any questions, comments, or CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, please leave a comment.

Here we go……

Hoss Harbinger and Equipment Cards.

Well how was it, I know it’s not great but I hope to improve.

Hoss and the Equipment Cards Arrive

I’m not going to go in to extreme depth yet as I plan on doing a video review of both as my first video for this blog. But here is a taste; the Equipment Cards are small (as expected if you read the description close), but they give a lot of info and I’m pretty happy with them. One thing I noticed was Eva’s Iron Cross First Class is now a “Bonus Item”, hmmm. If this is not an error it demonstrates FFG’s ability to update rules, by only issuing a new card.

As for Hoss he may not be the Panzer Tank everyone was expecting, but he’s still pretty powerful. The included bonus content: Eva’s Bonus (winter) Pack, three bonus tokens, and four more crates.

Expect to see a video review of all this by Monday, unless my 3DS turns out to be more distracting than expected.

A Quick Note

Just a quick note to let you guys know that Hoss and the Equipment Card are on their way to my house. I be posting a review of each shortly after they arrive in four or five days.

Question to the audience?

My health, and overall lack of free time have made it imposable to devote as much as six hours to a new Tannhauser University article.

So I’m posing a question to you guys the readers.

I have a YouTube account, and a standard definition camcorder, would you all like to see some sort of Tannhauser video series, and if so what would you like to see in it?

Some of you may be asking how doing videos will be easier then writing. Well a video shot in one take, takes literally ten minutes, and then I upload it and post it on the blog. Not counting upload time the whole process is like half an hour, and not the four to six hours it takes to write, photograph, and edit my current “how to” style articles.

I’ll be doing some “screen tests” over the next couple weeks, and I may post a preview of what I have in mind.

Please leave any comments or suggestions below.

Thanks for all you support, and I hope I can get this blog rolling again soon.

Back from the dead… Maybe…

I’m back today for a short post for the March Bonus Token and a special Bonus Token. First the March Bonus Token.

A traditional symbol of luck and St. Patrick’s Day.

LUCKunion back

Hardware • Before the game begins roll six dice and write down the result. Then once during the game you use the result you wrote down instead of a single roll (Natural 10s are counted as Natural 10s). Discard this token after use.

Next we have the Special Bonus Token…

Happy Birthday, time for presents...

birthdaynutral back

Ability • Before the first game turn begins but after all Equipment Packs have been chosen, the opposing play must choose one token from each character on his team and give them to you. Stack these tokens on top of the Happy Birthday token. After the game begins, at the start each activation you may chose one of these tokens to be "active", by placing it on top of the stack. You may use this token as your own until it is discarded, expended, or switched for another of the tokens in the stack.

This token may only be played on your birthday.

Well that’s all I have for today, in other news, the Tannhauser University articles are going to be delayed for quite a while still. And I will have no other custom work of any kind (except Bonus Tokens) to post until after April.

I’m sorry for any disappointment, but I am a very unhealthy individual and this can’t be helped.
